Aha! Roadmaps

Aha! Roadmaps is a product planning platform with strategy, prioritisation, roadmaps, and release planning. It includes Aha! Ideas Essentials for customer idea portals, while more advanced feedback and portal features require Ideas Advanced.

Aha! strategic initiatives grouped by progress

Aha! organises strategic initiatives in a dedicated product-planning workspace.

Collect and respond to customer ideas

The included Ideas Essentials product gives customers a portal to submit and vote on ideas. Teams can review submissions, set statuses, and respond through comments or official responses.

Ideas Advanced adds features such as dynamic forms, customer segmentation, CRM connections, and direct idea-to-Jira integration. It is an upgrade to Roadmaps, not an entitlement for only one selected user.

Prioritise ideas alongside product strategy

Aha! scorecards let teams compare ideas and features using chosen factors. Customer votes can provide a demand signal, while Ideas Advanced adds richer customer and revenue context through connected systems.

This is a full planning workspace: feedback can be promoted into features and reviewed alongside strategy, releases, and dependencies.

Plan and share several roadmap views

Roadmaps can show work as now–next–later columns or as a date-based release plan with dependencies. Teams can also bring releases from multiple workspaces into portfolio views.

Ideas Advanced can place selected reports and roadmaps on custom portal pages. Review what the report creator can see before sharing, because published portal views follow changes in their underlying data.

Draft release notes from Aha! work

Aha! can use its AI assistant to draft release notes from Aha! feature descriptions and requirements. Prompts can specify the audience, format, and style.

That workflow starts with Aha! records. If your release notes need to start directly from selected Jira work items, check where the source material will be prepared.

Connect Aha! Roadmaps and Ideas to Jira

Aha! Roadmaps provides a two-way Jira integration with configurable mappings and update direction for planning records. Direct idea-to-Jira linking and related idea status updates require Ideas Advanced and a separate configuration.

Those product and plan boundaries matter if customer ideas should follow Jira delivery. Budget for the advanced add-on when that direct connection is part of your workflow.

Pricing

Aha! Roadmaps Premium starts at $59 per paid user per month billed annually and includes Ideas Essentials. Ideas Advanced adds $20 per paid user per month on annual billing for the advanced feedback capabilities described above.

Standalone Aha! Ideas Essentials is a separate option starting at $39 per paid user per month annually, with a three-paid-user minimum. It does not include the full Roadmaps planning product. Portal participants do not need paid user seats.

Who is Aha! Roadmaps a good fit for?

Aha! Roadmaps suits teams that want a dedicated platform for product strategy, feedback, prioritisation, release planning, and several roadmap views.

If your team already plans in Jira or Jira Product Discovery, decide whether the additional Aha! planning workspace and the Ideas Advanced add-on are worth the extra setup and cost.

Released Hub

An alternative for teams using Jira

Released Hub fits teams that already manage product plans in Jira or Jira Product Discovery and want to bring customer conversations and updates to that existing work.

It provides a feedback portal, shared inbox, customer-facing roadmaps, and AI-assisted release-note drafts from selected Jira work items. Roadmap feedback links to the matching Jira item automatically.

Consider it when your main gap is customer communication around Jira work rather than a second platform for strategy and release planning.
